A Good Day (Today)

Today would've been a good day to have a husband... Or a boyfriend... Or a best friend with arms that stretched beyond the reach of the things that seek to take...To steal... to swindle... to snatch... The joy... the light... the warmth that drew him unto me.  Today would've been a good day to be a wife... Or a girlfriend... Or a best friend with the certainty that she could look forward to melting into the embrace of the man that God equipped to love her... To protect her...

To save her from the obligation of strength.  Because today was a good day to be fragile. Today was a good day to be kept.
